My house finches are back! Every year a pair of house finches builds a nest in my front porch hanging basket! They are still building, so, no eggs yet. Once she starts laying, she will lay one everyday until she lays 4-6 eggs. They will incubate the eggs for about 10-17 days. Once the babies have fledged, after about 20 days, I will remove the nest and they immediately start working on another to raise the next brood!
