Wonderful Hostess Party!

In my last post I told you that I didn't get to go with my crew to see the Candy Drop because I was stamping! Well, here are a couple of things I demonstrated to my guests...I gotta tell you, a couple of them had never stamped before and they did a fantastic job! Hope they had as much fun as I did!
So, we made an easy fall card using the new French Foliage set (which is currently my favorite stamp set!). First we stamped different leaves in More Mustard, Cherry Cobbler and Early Espresso all over our Vanilla card stock. Then covered the bottom with DSP from the Autumn Spice collection and wrapped it with Victoria ribbon...for a little added touch, we added a little twine bow on the end.
The treat holder is a 3 1/2 x 11 sheet of Crumb Cake scored at 4, 4.5, 5, and 9. I was just going to add leaves from the Leaves #2 Big Shot die, but when I ran the paper through the BS, not only did I end up with leaves but I got a fabulous little stencil too! So, I sponged some ink and what a difference adding the one extra step made! Then we scalloped the edge of the top flap, tucked some M&M's inside, punched a couple of holes to add our ribbon and finally mounted the leaves!
