I've been wanting to try this technique ever since a friend showed it to me a while back. Today I was sorting through some of my paper and I came across an old Simply Scrapin' kit from Stampin' Up! I thought the flowers in this pack would be perfect for layering. Step one was to stamp a background image and I used the the flower stem from the Thoughts and Prayers set. Then I just started layering the flowers on. Once I got all my flowers in place, I ran the card front through my big shot in the Square Lattice embossing folder. Added a couple of embellishments then mounted it to the card! It sort of looks like old fashioned needle point...I just love this look!
