Mojo Chicken
This week my inspiration was my chickens...older and younger! The base of this card is Kraft stamped with Itty Bitty Backgrounds in Soft Suede. Then I embossed a piece of Soft Suede with the new Lattice impressions folder and wrapped it with a piece of Soft Suede ribbon. My baby chick is stamped on a piece of Barely Banana card stock cut with the Top Note Big Shot die. My rooster is stamped on Very Vanilla CS and then layered on top of a piece of Kraft CS. I colored both of my chickens as close to a Buff Orpington (the breed of my chickens) as I could. I used Barely Banana, Ruby Red, More Mustard, Close to Cocoa, Creamy Caramel, and Really Rust stamp & write markers. Before I mounted them on to my card, I distressed the edges a little and sponged a little Soft Suede to give it a rustic look. Finally, I wrapped some hemp twine around the card and secured it with a Kraft corduroy button.
