No Agenda

Today we left the hotel with no agenda. We started off strolling around Bolling Air Force base. Lets just say, if we ever got stationed here, I would never have to leave the base. There is a plenty of housing, a commissary, an exchange, a kids splash park and many play grounds, a craft center with wood shop, a sports field and track, a boat ramp and marina, a dog park and vet, a clinic, a community center, and I'm sure much more that we didn't get to explore! It's a beautiful compound right on the water with houses that reminded me of living in San Pedro, California especially with the California-like weather!

While strolling around the base, we stumbled upon an MWR bike club demonstration. Part of the demonstrations was to test ride all of the bikes! This was a fabulous find, because one, we had no plans, two, we had lots of fun, and three it was free and we got free bike locks just for trying out the bikes!

All of the bikes, some new, some used and some antique, were neat and fun! We must have spent 2 hours out there just riding around...it was a BLAST!

Our next find was pretty cool! In one section of housing, there was a kids splash park! How cool would that be right outside your front door?

Our "No Agenda" day ended up being packed full of family fun!
